Lexmio Privacy Policy
In short: Lexmio has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your plan, your saved words and your practice history stay on your iPhone. We only see something if you choose to email us.
Who we are
Lexmio is made by Plainroot Studio (“we”). This policy covers the Lexmio app for iPhone and its widgets.
What Lexmio stores, and where
Lexmio keeps the following only on your iPhone, inside the app’s own storage:
- your plan: study plan, level, daily pace and exam month (if you set one), plus the list of new words planned for the coming week;
- words you save, open, mark as known or practise, and when you practised them;
- your widget and reminder settings, such as the word interval, quiet hours and reminder time.
To show your words in widgets, Lexmio writes a small file with the current words into a storage area that only Lexmio and its widgets can read. That file also stays on your iPhone.
To tell you whether your widget is set up, Lexmio asks iOS which of its widgets are on your screens. This check happens on your iPhone, and nothing is sent.
Lexmio does not send any of this to us or to anyone else. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services, and it does not use Apple’s advertising identifier.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are made and handled by Apple through your Apple Account, under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Lexmio only checks, on your iPhone, whether your Apple Account has an active subscription or lifetime access. We don’t receive your payment details, and Lexmio doesn’t send anything about your purchases to us.
Pronunciation
“Listen” uses the speech voices built into iOS. The word is spoken by your iPhone; Lexmio does not send it anywhere.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, Lexmio schedules its reminders on your iPhone: the daily practice reminder you choose and, during a free week, a note two days before it ends. iOS shows them; no server is involved.
Backups
If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, Apple may include Lexmio’s data in that backup, as it does for other apps. That is controlled by your iPhone settings and Apple’s privacy policy, not by Lexmio.
When you email us
“Contact support” and “Report a problem with this word” open an email draft in your own mail app. Nothing is sent until you press Send, and you can edit or delete anything first. The draft contains the Lexmio version, the iOS version and, for a word report, the word, its internal ID and the word list version.
If you send it, we receive your email address and whatever you wrote. We use it only to reply and to fix the problem, and we delete it when it is no longer needed for that.
Test versions (TestFlight)
If you test a pre-release version through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports, feedback and screenshots you choose to send with us, as described in Apple’s TestFlight terms. We use them only to improve Lexmio.
Deleting your data
In Lexmio, open Your plan → Reset Lexmio on this iPhone to remove your plan, saved words and practice history. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. To have a support email deleted, write to us.
Children
Lexmio does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app itself collects none.
Changes
If Lexmio ever starts to handle data differently, for example by adding an optional online service, we will update this page and change the date above before that version is released.

Lexmio neleri, nerede saklar?
Lexmio aşağıdakileri yalnızca iPhone’unda, uygulamanın kendi depolama alanında tutar:
- planın: çalışma planın, seviyen, günlük tempon ve belirttiysen sınav ayın; ayrıca önümüzdeki hafta için planlanan yeni kelimelerin listesi;

- kelime aralığı, sessiz saatler ve hatırlatma saati gibi widget ve hatırlatma ayarların.
Kelimelerini widget’larda göstermek için Lexmio, güncel kelimeleri içeren küçük bir dosyayı yalnızca Lexmio’nun ve widget’larının okuyabildiği bir alana yazar. Bu dosya da iPhone’unda kalır.
Widget’ının kurulu olup olmadığını söyleyebilmek için Lexmio, ekranlarında hangi Lexmio widget’larının bulunduğunu iOS’a sorar. Bu kontrol iPhone’unda yapılır ve hiçbir şey gönderilmez.
Lexmio bunların hiçbirini bize ya da başka birine göndermez. Analiz, reklam veya takip hizmeti kullanmaz ve Apple’ın reklam kimliğini kullanmaz.
Satın alımlar
Abonelikler ve satın alımlar Apple Hesabın üzerinden, Apple’ın koşulları ve gizlilik politikası kapsamında Apple tarafından yapılır ve yönetilir. Lexmio yalnızca iPhone’unda, Apple Hesabının etkin bir aboneliği ya da ömür boyu erişimi olup olmadığını kontrol eder. Ödeme bilgilerin bize ulaşmaz ve Lexmio satın alımlarınla ilgili hiçbir şeyi bize göndermez.
Telaffuz
“Dinle”, iOS’un yerleşik seslerini kullanır. Kelimeyi iPhone’un seslendirir; Lexmio onu hiçbir yere göndermez.
Hatırlatmalar
Bildirimlere izin verirsen Lexmio hatırlatmalarını iPhone’unda planlar: seçtiğin günlük pratik hatırlatması ve ücretsiz hafta sürerken, bitmesine iki gün kala bir not. Bunları iOS gösterir; arada bir sunucu yoktur.
Yedekler
iCloud Yedekleme kullanıyorsan ya da iPhone’unu bir bilgisayara yedekliyorsan Apple, diğer uygulamalarda olduğu gibi Lexmio’nun verilerini de bu yedeğe ekleyebilir. Bunu Lexmio değil, iPhone ayarların ve Apple’ın gizlilik politikası belirler.
Bize e-posta gönderdiğinde
“Destekle iletişime geç” ve “Bu kelimeyle ilgili bir sorun bildir”, kendi e-posta uygulamanda bir taslak açar. Sen Gönder’e basmadan hiçbir şey gönderilmez; önce her şeyi düzenleyebilir ya da silebilirsin. Taslakta Lexmio sürümü, iOS sürümü ve kelime bildirimlerinde kelimenin kendisi, iç kimliği ve kelime listesinin sürümü bulunur.
Gönderirsen e-posta adresini ve yazdıklarını alırız. Bunları yalnızca sana yanıt vermek ve sorunu düzeltmek için kullanır, bu amaç için gerekmediğinde sileriz.
Test sürümleri (TestFlight)
Yayın öncesi bir sürümü Apple’ın TestFlight’ı ile deniyorsan Apple, TestFlight koşullarında anlatıldığı gibi çökme raporlarını ve göndermeyi seçtiğin geri bildirim ve ekran görüntülerini bizimle paylaşabilir. Bunları yalnızca Lexmio’yu iyileştirmek için kullanırız.
Verilerini silmek
Planını, kayıtlı kelimelerini ve pratik geçmişini silmek için Lexmio’da Planın → Bu iPhone’da Lexmio’yu sıfırla bölümünü aç. Uygulamayı silmek, sakladığı her şeyi kaldırır. Bir destek e-postasının silinmesini istersen bize yaz.
Çocuklar
Lexmio, çocuklar dahil kimseden bilerek kişisel bilgi toplamaz. Uygulamanın kendisi hiç veri toplamaz.
Değişiklikler
Lexmio bir gün verileri farklı işlemeye başlarsa (örneğin isteğe bağlı bir çevrimiçi hizmet eklenirse), o sürüm yayınlanmadan önce bu sayfayı ve yukarıdaki tarihi güncelleriz.
